Privacy Policy
Your Privacy is Our Priority
All calculations happen in your browser - we never see your data.
Data Collection
SelfPaidCalc is designed with privacy at its core. We operate on a simple principle: your financial data is yours alone.
What We DON'T Collect:
- Income amounts
- Tax calculations
- Business expenses
- Filing status or personal information
- Any data you enter into our calculators
How It Works:
All calculations are performed entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your data never leaves your device. We have no servers storing your financial information, no databases tracking your usage, and no way to access what you calculate.
Local Storage
To improve your experience, we may store calculation history in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). This data:
- Remains on your device only
- Is never transmitted to our servers
- Can be cleared at any time through our interface or your browser settings
- Is automatically deleted if you clear your browser data
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (page views, referrers, general usage patterns). This helps us improve the site. Ahrefs does not track personal information or individual calculations.
Third-Party Services
We do not integrate any third-party services that have access to your calculation data. All calculator functionality is built into the website and runs locally in your browser.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for site functionality.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect your personal data, there's no data for us to share, sell, or retain. You maintain complete control over any data stored locally in your browser.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
Disclaimer
SelfPaidCalc provides calculations for educational and informational purposes only. Our calculators are designed to provide estimates based on current tax laws, but should not be considered professional tax advice. Always consult with a qualified tax professional or CPA for advice specific to your situation.
